"Our winemaking knowledge is the product of more than 30 years spent growing and crafting award winning wines. We carefully match each grape variety to the region most likely to reflect its best expression, such as this Merlot Cabernet sourced from key Hawke’s Bay vineyards. Festival Block wines are named in honour of the site of the Marlborough Wine Festival - held on our Brancott Vineyard for over 25 years.

Intense, dark fruit characters combine with subtle cedar and spicy, oak complexity. The palate is ripe and full with fine tannins culminating in a smooth, lingering finish. This medium-bodied Hawke’s Bay Merlot Cabernet blend is suited to a wide range of dishes, including pasta and red meat dishes such as roasted beef fillet or braised lamb shanks."
