We deliver same day in the Auckland region and nationwide, as an overnight delivery service. In 99% of cases, we dispatch from our office, to ensure the quality and customer satisfaction.
Delivery costs
Commercial couriers visit each address once only, so if the Recipient is not home they will be left in a safe place, out of sight from the road and sunlight. They do not phone prior to delivery, nor will they sing a song, dance a jig or hug the Recipient - sorry!
What region is my delivery?

Papakura & local includes Ardmore, Conifer Grove, Drury Towbship, Harbourside, Opaheke, Pahurehure, Red Hill, Rosehill and Takanini.

Pukekohe and Franklin includes Pukekohe, Tuakau, Bombay, Waiuku, Clarks Beach and all other Franklin areas (excluding Pukeoware and beyond)

Auckland Metro includes from Manurewa (South), to Howick (East), to Albany (North) and out to Henderson (West) / Titirangi Central (Other part of West).

Auckland Outer areas we cover are: Hunua, Clevedon, Beachlands, Maraetai, Whitford, Silverdale, Whenuapai, Hobsonville, Coatesville, Riverhead and Dairy Flat.

For all other areas, you must select the North Island - Overnight delivery service.

When can it get there?
We deliver throughout Auckland (Local, Metro and Outer) from Monday to Saturday. Sunday delivery service is not available (unless Christmas, Valentines or Mothers Day happen to fall on it).
We deliver throughout New Zealand (North and South Island) from Tuesday to Saturday (major towns and cities only) . There is no out of town Sunday delivery service.
North Island deliveries if ordered by 3pm will be delivered the next day. South Island deliveries take 2 days for delivery.

If no one’s home, what happens?
As we use commercial couriers, they only make one attempt at delivery. If the recipient is not home, they will leave your gift in a safe, cool place and leave a card in the letterbox advising where and when it was left. Occasionally your gift may be left with a neighbour if they are prepared to accept the flowers and the courier is comfortable leaving them with them. If this happens, a card will either be left under the door or in the letterbox advising that this has been done. Please ensure that you give us full delivery instructions and phone numbers to avoid potential problems.
Rural deliveries
Rural deliveries out of Auckland take 2 days and cannot be delivered on a Saturday. Please ensure that you take this into account when placing your order. It is always best to order either an arrangement (in oasis floral foam), a plant or a gift basket for these areas. If you choose a bouquet, it is best to add an extra of a vox box, which is in the vases options in the extras. Then your flowers will stay perfectly fresh in water.
Out of Town deliveries – how do they work?
We have developed a unique custom designed, printed delivery box which measures 500 x 500 x 600. Your flowers are packaged in a water filled Vox (a cross between a vase and a box). It does increase the cost slightly, but ensures that your flowers are kept totally fresh and protected from damage during all facets of delivery.
 
If I get the delivery area wrong, what happens?
If you choose the wrong delivery area, as soon as we receive your order, we will respond to you via email letting you what and how to pay the additional delivery fee. Or in the event you have paid too much, we will contact you regarding the refund of additional delivery fee. If you do not pay the additional delivery fee before the dispatch date and time of your order, we will hold the order until this has been paid. If you are unsure of what delivery region your delivery is, please contact us and we will respond ASAP to help you out.
Bartercard delivery notes
As of Jan 1st, Roses Are Red will be requiring cash payment for all deliveries made to the South Island on Bartercard, as well as any bulk orders of 3 or more.
